RIVERBED WASHBASIN
A hollowed stone basin whose layers flow like sediment under water.
The basin is carved by hand from one block of sandstone, its exterior built of thick, uneven bands in sand, cream and rust. Inside, the stone is smoothed to receive water, while the outer edges stay chiselled and raw. In a bathroom, it sets a calm, mineral note, made to order.
