TARN BATHTUB
A bathtub carved from banded stone, its diagonal layers left visible.
The exterior is cut in faceted planes, the black, white and grey striations of gneiss granite running across each polished face. Made by hand to order, the interior is smoothed for comfort while the outer form stays sharp. It gives a bathroom the weight and stillness of a mountain.
