TIDEWORN WASHBASIN
A single carved-looking basin, smooth as stone shaped by water.
One continuous volume of warm ivory-beige mineral polymer concrete, hollowed into a shallow, softly curved basin with a fine honed matte finish. Each basin is formed and finished by hand to order, its edges rounded like a pebble turned by many tides. In a bathroom it reads as quiet sculpture first and fixture second, bringing the calm of sandstone to the ritual of washing.
