A freestanding stone portal that frames a view like a doorway.
Two upright piers and a lintel of grey stone-concrete form an arched opening, their faces bush-hammered by hand and vertically fluted. It stands alone in a garden or hall, shaping the space and the view beyond. Made to order, it marks a threshold with quiet authority.
